摘要
本文从生态批评的视角对《弗兰肯斯坦》所展示的伦理道德问题进行反思。通过认真的分析、讨论,本文提出了一个重要的观点:《弗兰肯斯坦》是悲剧性的,因为弗兰肯斯坦犯了一个悲剧性错误,即颠覆了基本的社会伦理道德,这体现在母性身份的分裂、置换和重构上,其结果是让人陷入到父不父、母不母、子不子的尴尬境地。
The present paper, with the help of ecocriticism, reconsiders the issues of ethics and morality revealed in the novel Frankenstein. After careful analysis and discussion, the paper holds the important point of view that Frankenstein is typically a tragedy, because he made a tragic mistake, that is, he subverted the essential principles of social ethics and morality, reflec- ting the division, replacement and re-construction of the mother identity, and resulting in an awkward situation in which there is a lack of the real identity of mother, father and son.
