Innovation and Development of the CPC's Cultural Theory since Reform and Opening

改革开放以来,社会主义文化的内涵从"社会主义精神文明"到"先进文化",再到"和谐文化",不断深化;文化是社会主义总体布局的有机组成部分,是综合国力的重要因素,反映了执政党的性质、宗旨、能力和先进性;文化体制改革的思路逐渐清晰;文化外交、文化贸易、文化交流与文化外宣等全方位的对外文化工作不断拓展,这些都反映了中国特色社会主义文化理论的创新与发展。

Since the reform and opening up,the connotation of socialist culture has been developing from 'socialist ethics'to 'advanced culture'and then 'harmonious culture'.As an organic component of socialist entirety and the important element of the comprehensive strength of a country,culture reflects the nature,tenor,capacity and advancedness of the party-in-power.The thought for the cultural system reform is becoming clearer and clearer.The cultural work in foreign affairs to every sides such as cultural diplomacy,cultural trade,cultural exchange and cultural promotion to foreign countries have been increasingly developed,all of which reflects the innovation and development of the socialist cultural theories with Chinese characteristics.
