摘要
文章设计了一种基于Intel IQ81348的Raid控制器,该控制器采用了集成多个SAS通道和DMA部件的存储专用处理器。实现了该控制器的原型机,原型机与主机的联接方式采用光纤通道。对原型机进行了测试,试验结果显示其读、写数据传输率分别达到378 MB/s和293 MB/s,与其它Raid系统相比性能有显著提高。
Section 1 of the full paper explains how we design and build its hardware architecture and software architecture,whose block diagrams are shown respectively in Figs.1 and 2;thus we implement its prototype.What is worth noticing in section 1 is that the architectures adopt an Intel IOP81348 processor integrated with SAS(Serial Attached SCSI) channels and DMA(direct memory access) components and that the prototype is connected to the host with fibre channels.Section 2 tests the performance of the prototype and compares its performance with those of other Raid controllers.The test results,given in Figs.3 and 4,and their analysis show preliminarily that the data transfer rates of reading performance and writing performance reach 378 MB/s and 293 MB/s respectively,indicating that our controller is better than other RAID controllers.
