In this paper,the writer analyzed the status quo of College English listening and speaking teaching,compared the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional English listening and speaking teaching with that of using English movie clips in listening and speaking teaching,stated how to choose the proper movie clips,and showed the teaching method and the effects of English listening and speaking teaching using movie clips.
