The authors expounded the technique of designing container structure by the three-dimensional modeling function of AutoCAD2010.Firstly,the basic method of three-dimensional modeling was introduced,then with the design of circular container as an example,the whole process of getting solid model by three-dimensional modeling technique was discussed： skeleton generation,vol-ume calculation,surface coloration,render and so on.The effect drawing of container structure made with AutoCAD is clear for all-round understanding to the structure of container and its various parameters.
