Research on the Theoretical System of Religion with Chinese Characteristics

中国特色社会主义宗教理论体系是中国共产党第二代、第三代领导集体和以胡锦涛为总书记的党中央,把马克思主义宗教观与中国宗教的具体实际相结合而揭示的关于宗教问题的理论观点、方针政策和实践经验的总结。他由三个层面构成:一是关于宗教的本质特征、发展规律和社会作用问题的理论;二是关于宗教与国家之间的关系,宗教与社会主义社会相适应,以及建设和谐宗教关系的理论;三是关于宗教与无产阶级政党、宗教信仰与共产主义信仰之间关系,以及加强党对宗教工作领导的理论,这是一个全新的宗教理论体系。

The theoretical system of religion in China,a corollary of the combination of Marxist view of religion and China＇s concrete religious reality,refers to the theoretical viewpoints,policies and practical experiences related to religion.It has three layers： first,the nature of religion,its tendency and role in society;second,the relation between religion and the state,the compatibility between religion and socialist society as well as the theory of building harmonious religious relationship;third,the relation between religion and proletarian party,between religious faith and faith in communism as well as theories regarding strengthening the Party＇s role in religion.
