西河镇富藏优质石灰石资源,但长期以来因附加值低、地理位置偏远,未能得到很好的开发利用。根据当前山东省内优质石灰石资源分布情况和钢铁冶炼技术的发展,从市场、技术、经济等各方面分析,山东钢铁集团开发西河石灰石资源是必要和可行的。

Xihe town is rich in high-quality limestone resources, but they have not been exploited and used for a long time, because of low additional value and position out-of-the-way. Depending on the distribution of high-quality limestone resources in Shangdong province and the development of steel smelting technology, through analyzing from market, technology, economy etc, it is necessary and feasible for Shangdong Iron and Steel Group to exploit and use the limestone in Xihe town.
