影响中西部地区外资企业R&D水平的因素

Factors of Influencing Foreign-funded Enterprises' R&D Activities in the Central and Western Regions of China

利用2003—2007年省际面板数据对中西部地区外资企业R&D水平的影响因素进行经验分析。研究表明:市场规模、R&D水平、通讯基础设施、知识产权保护水平、利用外资水平与外资企业研发水平正相关,开放水平、市场导向、内外资技术差距与外资企业研发水平反相关。知识产权水平不高影响了R&D人力资源吸引力,改变了市场导向的作用方向。

This paper analyzes the factors of affecting foreign-funded enterprises＇ R＆D activities in the central and western regions based on the interprovincial panel data from 2003 to 2007. Results show that some factors are positive correlation with foreign-funded enterprises＇ R＆D, such as market size, R＆D intensity, communications infrastructure, intellectual property protection, the scale of utilizing foreign investment; Some factors are on the contrary, such as degree of opening, the degree of marketization, technology gap between domestic and foreign enterprises. Low level of intellectual property protection affects the attractiveness of R＆D manpower to foreign-funded enterprises＇ R＆D, and has changed the role of market-oriented direction to foreign-funded enterprises＇ R＆D.
