目前严重烧伤后患者由于低血容量性休克、组织缺血缺氧、免疫力下降、能量的消耗、对微生物的易感性等多种因素导致感染的发生率很高,易发展致多器官功能障碍综合征,是烧伤患者死亡的主要威胁。研究发现降钙素原作为全身性感染的标志物,在烧伤脓毒症早期的诊断中有特异、敏感、快速、准确、简便的特点。因此在临床动态监测其浓度,有助于判断严重烧伤患者细菌性感染的严重程度和预后,指导临床抗生素的合理使用。

Hypovolemic shock,tissue ischemia and hypoxia,energy inadequacy,and the damage of immune system in seriously burnt patients usually results in the significant increase of susceptibility to microbes,and can deteriorate into MODS,which may tend to threaten the burnt patients.Procalcitonin,as an optimal general diagnostic marker of infection,has a higher specificity and sensitivity,with good handiness and accuracy.Therefore,the dynamic monitoring of PCT can help to diagnose the infection,its severity,and the prognosis of the severely burnt patients,in addition to direct the rational use of antibiotics.
