Clinical Application Progress of External Fixation Support

外固定支架最初仅作为内固定前的暂时固定,主要用于胫骨,现今广泛应用于四肢长骨、短骨、脊柱不规则骨,并可作为一种最终稳定的手段,不必改为内固定。许多学者根据不同骨折、软组织畸形的特点,设计出了多种形式的支架,并提出了动态固定、超关节固定等新观点。近年来,在肢体延长和软组织矫形方面的成绩,更显示其重要性,某些方面是内固定不可替代的。其他临床学科根据外固定支架的特点及作用原理,研制出各自相应的支架,使用日渐增多。

External fixation support initially was used as temporary fixation before internal fixation,mainly used for tibia fracture.Now it was wide used in limbs long bone,short bone and vertebral irregular bone,it can be served as ultimate means of stabilization,need not change internal fixation Many scholar designed multiform fixed support according to feature of different fracture and soft tissuel deformity,proposed some new ideas such as dynamic fixation,over joint fixation.The achievement in limbs lengthen and soft tissue orthopedic in recent years showed that external fixation support was significant and was not substituted by internal fixation in some aspects.Other clinic speciality developed the relevant external fixation according to characteristic and mechanism of external fixation support which has broad application gradually.
