摘要
2003年8月16日,在内蒙古巴林左旗与阿鲁科尔沁旗交界处发生MS5.9地震。以本次地震为研究对象,结合震中区地震地质背景,从地震活动性和震害分布特征两个方面进行了分析。根据b值、波速比(VP/VS)和地震空间相关长度在震前的变化,探讨了地震前震源区地下介质体的演变过程,并对此次地震的孕震过程做出了初步推断。本次地震前波速比和地震空间相关长度的变化规律对该区域未来中强地震预测有一定借鉴意义。
On August 16,2003,an MS5.9 earthquake occurred in the bordering area of Balinzuoqi and Alukeerqinqi,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.We analyze the seismic activity and the distribution of earthquake disaster on the basis of the seismological settings in the earthquake area.By analyzing the variation of b-value,velocity ratio(VP/VS)and correlation length before the earthquake event,we discuss the evolvement of underground media in the hypocentral area before earthquake event and preliminarily deduce the seismogenic process of the earthquake.The variation regularity of these three indexes can serve for forecasting the future medium-and strong-earthquakes in this region.
