摘要
笔者探讨了教学日志这一文化符号在教师专业学习中的中介工具作用。以两位高校英语教师作为研究对象,收集了两位教师在一个学期的教学过程中所撰写的教学日志,并对这些日志进行了质的分析和意义建构。研究发现,两位教师通过教学日志这一反思形式,发展了自己的实践知识和教学观,并最终促进了自己的专业成长。
This study explores the meditational role of teaching journals in teachers' professional learning. The researcher collected the teaching journals of two tertiary EFL teachers in one semester and conducted a qualitative analysis and a meaning construction. The findings revealed that through reflecting on their classroom teaching in the journals, the two teachers developed their practical knowledge and promoted their professional growth.
