摘要
本文探讨的是后殖民语境下研究华裔英语文学的理论意义和实践意义。以后殖民的视角来审视当前的华裔英语文学研究，可以凸现华裔作家对于再现政治的关注，更好地理解华裔文学作品对“中国性”的建构和协商，同时使读者对诸如多元文化、本质论的陷阱有所警惕。
This paper explores the significance of studying Chinese English literature in the postcolonial context. It is expected that such approach will help reveal Chinese English authors＇ concern for the politics of representation, thus ensuring a better understanding of the reconstruction and renegotiafion of ＂Chineseness＂ in their works.
