摘要
在小波变换的基础上,提出了一种基于小波变换的感兴趣区域图像压缩算法,即先将小波系数划分为两部分:ROI系数和BG系数,然后将ROI系数进行编解码以得到较高图像质量的ROI区域图像,再将BG系数编解码得到BG区域图像,结果表明:两部分图像合成得到整幅图像,较好地解决了图像质量与压缩比之间的矛盾。
This paper puts forward a method of ROI (region of interest) image compression based on wavelet transforms. Wavelet coefficients were divided into two parts: the RO1 coefficients and the BG coefficients. First we encoded and decoded the ROI coefficients in order to get a higher quality of ROI image. Then we dealt with the BG coefficients and obtained the BG image. At last we composed the two parts and acquired a whole picture. This method solves the contradiction between image quality and compression ratio.
