摘要
在小波变换的基础上,提出了一种基于小波变换的感兴趣区域图像压缩算法,即先将小波系数划分为两部分:ROI系数和BG系数,然后将ROI系数进行编解码以得到较高图像质量的ROI区域图像,再将BG系数编解码得到BG区域图像,结果表明:两部分图像合成得到整幅图像,较好地解决了图像质量与压缩比之间的矛盾。
This paper puts forward a method of ROI （region of interest） image compression based on wavelet transforms. Wavelet coefficients were divided into two parts： the RO1 coefficients and the BG coefficients. First we encoded and decoded the ROI coefficients in order to get a higher quality of ROI image. Then we dealt with the BG coefficients and obtained the BG image. At last we composed the two parts and acquired a whole picture. This method solves the contradiction between image quality and compression ratio.
