摘要
对方言进行贴切的英语翻译历来都是一大挑战。从黄元英教授的《商洛民俗文化述论》中遴选了一些典型的陕南方言,根据文中语意的描述,分别进行了"方言对译法"和"口语体译法"的翻译尝试。通过分析比较,发现"口语体译法"是一种比较符合现实的方言翻译方法。
Dialect,having a long history and profund cultural details,is always a great challenge to translators.Taken from professor Huang Yuan-yings Folk Culture of Shangluo,the dialect words here are translated according to their local meanings in two ways：colloquialisms and equivalent translation,which are analysed under Skopos so as to get a better strategy for dialect translation,which may not be perfect,but conveys in Chinese the major functions of the dialects and preserves the readability of the original.
