摘要
《别名格雷斯》是阿特伍德一部重要的长篇小说。作者以独特的女性视角和敏锐的洞察力,再现了19世纪加拿大女性的生存困境和她们的精神世界。从女性主义视角对小说进行解读,剖析了男权话语压迫下女性的从属地位和悲惨境遇,并通过女主人公格雷斯的经历,揭示女性的生存之道——女性必须发出自己的声音,并依靠其他女性的力量,团结一致,才有可能真正颠覆男性的话语权威,保持主体意识的独立和完整。
Alias Grace is a novel written by Canadian writer Margaret Atwood.With her unique feminist perspective and insight,the author depicts the living condition and the inner world of Canadian women in the 19th century.This paper intends to read the novel from the feminist perspective and discusses the subordinate status and miserable condition of women under patriarchal discourse.Through the analysis of the experiences of Alias Grace,the paper reveals the philosophy of survival embodied in the novel.Women should unite and speak in their own voice in order to overthrow the authority of male discourse and keep female subjectivity.
