城市公共交通是重要的城市基础设施，是关系国计民生的社会公益性事业。在城市化和机动化快速发展的背景下，发展公共交通，实行公交优先是解决城市交通拥堵问题的最有效的措施之一。详细介绍了我国城市公共交通的现状；对存在问题和形成原因进行了分析；在借鉴发达国家公共交通方面的相关经验的基础上，针对我国城市公共交通存在的问题提出相应对策。

Urban public transportation is an important and fundamental facilities in city , and also social and public welfare of importance to the national economy and the people＇s livelihood . Under the be background of mo- torized rapid urbanization, to develop public transport by preference of public bus is one of the most effective meas- ures to the problem of city traffic jams. The paper introduces the status quo of our urban public transportation and analyses the existing problems and the reasons and finally puts forward countermeasures for the problems on the ba- sis of learning from the developed countries in the relevant public transport experience.
