This paper discusses and analyzes the number of parallel branches of 4/8- pole two-winding double-speed motor { hereafter referred to as simply motor ）. There are two sets of stator windings in motor, and rotor is one of them. The induced electromotive force exists not only between each stator winding and rotor but also between two sets of stator windings. If the number of parallel branches or connection method are not selected correctly, the motor will operate abnormally, bes the prototype in aspects of design and process, etc
