元认知理论对英语课外自主学习的影响

The Influence of Meta-cognition Theory on After-class Autonomous Learning in College English

摘要 以元认知理论为依据,对两个随机抽取的实验班和控制班进行研究:实验班在接受一定的课外自主学习任务的同时又接受元认知理论的培训;而控制班只接受同样的课外自主学习任务。结果表明:经过元认知培训后的试验班的后测成绩明显高于控制班。其原因是学生能够根据学习的规律和学习的具体条件,更加自觉地组织自己的学习活动,通过不断调整和完善,使自己的学习方法和过程更加合理,更加有效率。 Based on the Meta-cognition Theory, a research was carried out in the experiment group and control group which were chosen at random. Both of the groups accepted the same tasks for their autonomous English learning, while only the experiment group accepted the training of Meta-cognition Theory. The result showed that the achievements of experiment group after training in post-test was higher than that of control group. The reason was that students could organize their own learning activities more effectively according to the learning regulations and specific conditions, and improve learning methods and process at the same time.
