Lily is one of the numerous literary works initiated and translated by the source culture in the Seventeenth Years Period （1949-1966）.Subjected to the dominant review of the original work,its English translation was deleted and adapted in many ways,obscuring the mundane understanding and experience towards war and revolutionary heroes peculiar to the heroine ＂I＂ in the original work.The case study is supposed to provide a reference for the research of translation of Chinese literature at the time.
