Taking the case of the lighting design of the grand gate area of Chongqing Technology and Business University as the clue,starting from the analysis of environmental conditions on the spot,fully respecting the university＇s unique cultural background and geographical characteristics,and seeking the appropriate design elements and graphic expression and apply it to the specific design,it explored the association and connection between the innovation of lighting design of the grand gate of the university and the cultural construction on campus.
