参与式教学模式把建构主义学习理论、发现学习理论和合作学习理论作为基本理论依据。坚持以人为本、突出能力目标、体现价值追求是参与式教学模式的思想政治理论课特色。突出学生的主体性、重过程、重应用、重体验、全员性是该教学模式的基本特征,培养基于道德和人格的发现分析解决问题从而为自我适应提供可持续学习与发展空间的续航能力是该教学模式的基本目标。
