Study on Relations between RMB Exchange Rate and Sino-US Balance of Trade Structure

在国际金融危机的压力下,一些国家的贸易保护主义开始抬头,中国的对外贸易又成为众人关注的焦点。美国是中国的主要贸易伙伴国,中美贸易关系的发展不仅对各自的经济有极其重要的作用,而且对世界经济发展越来越具有影响力。关于人民币汇率与中美贸易失衡问题的研究表明,改善中美贸易收支的关键在于中国经济的持续增长。

Under the pressure of global financial crisis, trade protectionism has begun to gain ground in some countries. The issue of China′s foreign trade has become a focus of attention. The US is China′s principal trade partner country, the development of China and US trade ties not only has the extremely vital role on the respective economy, but also has more and more influence on the world economic development. Study on question of RMB exchange rate and the Sino-US trade unbalanced indicates that the key to improving the China and US trade payment lies in the sustained growth of Chinese economy.
