A four-storey brick-concrete dormitory building is planned to be rebuilt into an office building, and local walls on the 2nd and 3rd floors will be dismantled to form a large opening. Before construction, structural forces and construction load are considered to determine the strengthening scheme and to guarantee the strengthening quality.
