Strengthening ecological education is the necessary request for building up an ecological civilization,constructing a harmonious society,and promoting sustainable development.Approaches chosen to carry out ecological education for distance colleges are discussed from the perspectives of ecological moral cognition,of ecological moral consciousness,of ecological moral emotions,and of ecological moral behavior and rules to help the students build up the consciousness and behavior of taking care of the ecological environment,which is not only a new kind of moral education activities but also an important educational content to develop modern people.
