Based on the mechanical structure and control principle of the VS1 vacuum circuit breaker,this paper analyzes the common mechanical faults and the secondary circuit faults of the VS1 vacuum circuit breaker. The protective measures and treatment methods to minimize the faults of the VS1 vacuum circuit breaker and ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipments are presented.
