Analysis and Rising and Failure of the Private Railway in the End of Qing Dynasty

20世纪初在全国民族情绪高涨的背景下,各地纷纷要求收回路权,自办铁路。这一政治性的动机使商办铁路蜂起,但政治驱动下成立的商办铁路公司存在着诸多缺陷,最终由于政策的改变导致了商办铁路的失败。

In the early of 20th century,there occurred a high rising of nationalism in China.Under such background,some wise men proclaimed to regain the rights of railway and run it by their own without any foreign force interference.Such political motivation,on the one hand,led to a temporary prosperity in the private railway;while,on the contrary,there also existed some interior infects in the system.Eventually,with the change of the political system,the private railway couldn＇t avoid its failure.
