在中西学界,现代主义是一个并不新鲜然而却较难取得共识与定见的话题。创刊于1932年上海的《现代》杂志,在积极译介西方现代主义文学,系统介绍现代主义各种流派理论学说方面起到了重要的作用,为中国现代派的形成和发展提供了广阔的艺术借鉴的基础,推动了中国文学现代化的发展。

In the Chinese and Western academics,Modernism is a not a new topic,however,which is difficult to reach a consensus.Journal of Modern,founded in Shanghai in 1932,plays an important role in active translating and introducing modern Western literature and system introducing modernist theories of various schools,which also provides a broad basis of artistic reference for the formation and development of Modern School in China and promotes the pioneering spirit of modern Chinese literature.
