This paper briefly expounds some key issues of the establishment of Business English Studies,and proposes eleven prerequisites for this establishment.Then the writer argues that such prerequisites prove to be almost met,and he further holds the view that a new discipline,Business English Studies,is being shaped and can be totally established in the end with the joint efforts of the business English workers.
