摘要
按照功能学派目的论观点,以吸引游客为目的的旅游文本英译,应该符合英语旅游者的语言习惯;旅游作为跨文化交际活动也要求译文符合英语读者的文化和思维方式。由此,本文在对河南省旅游英译文本实例分析基础上,使用各种变译方法、借助因特网搜索引擎技术并借鉴英语本族作者的文本以规范和完善旅游文本的翻译,使译文更贴近英美游客,是有益的实践,同时也丰富了旅游翻译理论。
In the Chinese-English translation of tourist texts,it is necessary to consider the language habits of native English speakers for the purpose of attracting tourists.Tourism,as a sort of cross-cultural communication,also entails that the translation fits in with native English speakers' culture and thinking mode.Analyzing some tourist translations from some of the scenic spots in Henan Province,this paper shows that in translation,it is worthwhile to take some adaptations,employ a searching engine and use for reference the equivalent original tourism materials in English.As a rewarding attempt,these may help make the translation more acceptable by the English-speaking tourists and enrich the translation theory of tourism.
