After the rapid development in ＂Eleventh Five-Years＂,our economy and society facing the different international environment and the domestic macro-economic situation.Clean energy is the future energy trends.As an important component of clean energy,small hydropower will develop rapidly as economic development,improving the market economic system,power reduction strategy.From the environmental impact,energy development path,the market competitiveness,macro-economic policy areas,we draw the conclusion that our country’s small hydropowers have entered strategic opportunity period and provides background analysis from macroscopic point for correctly investment in small hydropower sector.
