Teaching of College English Reading from the Perspective of Discourse Analysis

阅读教学中的语篇分析包括语篇的主题分析、结构分析以及文体分析。语篇主题分析能帮助学生领会作者的写作意图及手法。语篇结构分析着重分析语篇中句子与句子之间和段落与段落之间的层次关系,以及段落与段落之间的思维逻辑和语言形式的内在联系,引导学生更好地把握文章结构从而加深对文章的理解,同时可以帮助学生了解不同体裁语篇的结构和交际目的,进而认识语篇的深层含义,迅速抓住文章的主题。

Discourse analysis in the teaching of college English reading includes theme analysis,structure analysis,and style analysis of the text.Theme analysis is aimed at helping students understand the authors＇ writing purposes and skills.Structure analysis focuses on the relations between sentences and between paragraphs,the logical development of paragraphs,as well as the internal relations under language forms,and also encourages students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the passages through a better command of the text structure.Style analysis makes students familiar with the structures and communicative purposes of different styles,which will lead to a deep understanding of the meaning of the passage and a fast grasp of the subject.
