摘要
为提高多媒体DS-CDMA系统的中断率性能,提出了一种改进的功率控制方案.该方案根据多媒体DS-CDMA系统中不同业务具有不同数据速率、误码率门限和处理增益的特点,对不同的业务使用不同的基站接收功率.根据方案所确定的基站接收功率,进而控制用户终端的发射功率.此功率控制方法可使多媒体DS-CDMA系统在不增加系统总发射功率的同时,大大提高系统的中断率性能.分析表明,在固定中断率门限的条件下,中断率性能的提高直接意味着DS-CDMA系统容量的提高.
A developed method of power control for a wireless multimedia code division multiple access (CDMA) system was proposed. As different types of traffic have different bit rates, required bit error rate (BER) and processing gain, it was reasonable to give different types of media different transmission power which can be obtained from the power control method. The proposed method can decrease outage probabi lity of the system while maintains the same transmission power. If the outage probability threshold is fixed, the decreasing of the outage probability can increase the system capability.
