The Au supported octadecanethiol phosphatidylcholine bilayers embedded with TCNQ(7,7,8,8 tetracyanoquinodimethane)were investigated using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).EIS indicates that the Faraday resistance of the unmodified bilayers is 5 times greater than that of TCNQ modified bilayers in Fe(CN) 3 /4 6 solution.CV shows that the modified bilayers exhibit an increase in conductance in one direction.
