MBR,which is a new-type,high-efficiency and advanced technology for water treatment,receives attention from a large number of researchers.This paper introduces the operation features and application status of MBR technology,points out the reasons of the membrane fouling in MBR technology and controlling methods,and looks forward to its development prospects,laying the foundation for the future research and development of MBR.
