摘要
明清艳情小说是在书坊主的商业运作下,由下层文人刻意发挥《金瓶梅》猥亵描写的一面,采用抄改、拼凑和模仿等手法炮制出来的;其作者为了避免诲淫之讥,往往打出"孔子不删郑卫"的旗号,宣称写欲是为言情,写淫出于劝惩,而在创作中却刻意迎合读者的阅读口味,进行宣淫、诲淫,劝百而讽一,因此沦为世情小说的末流。不过,从创作角度看,它们对通俗小说编创方式的演进也起过一定的推进作用。
Pornographic novel in Ming and Qing dynasty was,under the commercial operation of bookmen,cranked out by writers of low levels who painstakingly developed the obscene description in The Golden Lotus,by adapting,piecing,and imitation. Under the cover of 'Confucius does not cut off Zheng and Wei in Book of Odes' ,in order to avoid the suspicion of spreading salacity,the authors usually asserted that they intended to preach moral and penalize unhealthy customs by writing lust and sexual passion. However,in the process of their creation,they deliberately appealed to readers' tastes by publicizing sensuality,and what they seduced was much more than what they preached. This is why these works declined in social novels. However,from the viewpoint of creating,these works also promoted the evolution of composition of popular novels.
