摘要
提出了一种新型的、用于光分组交换网络的光纤缓存结构。该结构采用光纤分段式共享的机制,充分提高光纤延迟线的利用率,能实现服务区分功能。仿真结果表明,这种新型结构能有效提高分组传送概率,降低光分组平均延迟参数;相比于输出端口缓存结构,文中所提出的输出式循环共享光缓存结构减少了所使用的光纤延迟线单元数量,简化了核心节点结构。
A novel buffer architecture for Optical Packet Switching Networks is proposed. The utilization of fiber delay lines can be improved obviously; moreover, the service differentiating can be achieved effectively. Results and analysis show that the packet delivery ratio is enhanced and the average packet delay is decreased; comparing to the output buffer architecture, the number of optical fiber delay lines of our proposed buffer architecture is reduced, and the complexity is lower relatively.
