暗黑鳃金龟成虫对非寄主蓖麻和几种寄主叶片的选择和取食反应

Selection and feeding responses of Holotrichia parallela adults to the leaves of non-host plant Ricinus communis and several host plants

在室内测定了暗黑鳃金龟(Holotrichia parallela)成虫对非寄主蓖麻和几种寄主植物叶片的选择和取食反应.选择反应试验结果表明,暗黑鳃金龟成虫对蓖麻表现出明显的趋性,在没有寄主植物叶片干扰时对蓖麻叶片的选择率高达89%,有寄主植物叶片存在的情况下趋向率仍达60%以上.取食反应试验结果表明,成虫非常喜欢取食花生、榆树和大豆的叶片,取食12 h排泄的粪便量分别为(89.50±24.19)mg,(75.45±16.85)mg和(45.40±4.68)mg;其次为苘麻的叶片;最不喜欢取食的是蓖麻叶片,12 h内取食的叶片重量和排泄的粪便重量仅分别为(0.30±0.17)mg和(1.05±0.35)mg.因此,可以认为暗黑鳃金龟成虫趋向蓖麻的目的不是为了取食.

Bioassays on selection and feeding responses of Holotrichia parallela adults to the leaves of non-host plant Ricinus communis and several host plants were conducted in the laboratory.Results of selection response bioassay showed that the adults were significantly attracted to Ricinus communis.In paired tests,the selection response percentage of the adults to R.communis leaves reached up to 89% in the absence of other plant leaves;whilst in the presence of other host plant leaves,the selection response percentages decreased to about 60%.Feeding response bioassay showed that the adults preferred to leaves of Arachis hypogaea,Ulmus pumila and Glycine max,with the weight of faeces secreted after 12 h（89.50±24.19）mg,（75.45±16.85）mg and（45.40±4.68）mg,respectively,followed by the leaves of Abutilon theophrasti.The leaf weight of R.communi fed and the corresponding weight of faeces secreted were only（0.30±0.17）mg and（1.05±0.35）mg,respectively.Therefore,it can be concluded that the attraction of H.parallela adults to R.communi is not triggered by feeding.
