基于EDI的高校图书馆异构系统资源整合的研究

在当今信息爆炸的时代,高校图书馆需满足图书馆用户增长的不同需求。但是,由于各个高校的图书馆相对分散独立的建设,互相间信息交换不便,从而造成跨馆间借阅、文献传递等服务效率低下。因此,整合各高校图书馆资源具有重要的理论意义和实用价值。作者在讨论EDI整合地区高校图书馆资源的意义与优势的基础上,介绍EDI系统组成、基本特点和运作模式,并结合高校图书馆信息资源的特点,探讨基于EDI的高校图书馆信息资源整合平台的构建技术。

In today＇s era of information explosion, university libraries need to satisfy the growing requirement of library users. However, due to scattered locations and independent systems, information exchange is not easy to handle, which makes inter-library loan, literature circulation, and other services inefficient. Therefore, resource integration of university libraries has important theoretical and practical value. This paper discusses the meaning and advantage of resource integration of university libraries based on EDI system, and presents the composition, basic characteristics, and the mode of operation of EDI system. Based on the characteristics of university libraries＇ resources, this paper also discusses the development of EDI-based resource integration platform of the university libraries.
