沥青玛蹄脂碎石ＳＭＡ（ＳｔｏｎｅＭａｓｔｉｃＡｓｐｈａｌｔ）混合料是一种新型的路面结构沥青混合料，它首先是在欧洲开发和应用，现正在全世界方兴未艾。文中简要介绍了国外及我国沥青玛蹄脂碎石ＳＭＡ的材料构成，材料要求，混合料设计，路用性能及其最新进展。
Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) is a new kind of highway facing asphalt mixture, which was first developed in Europe and is now used worldwide. This paper describes the requirements of materials, mix design, production, laying, road performance and recent development in SMA home and abroad.
