鲁本斯是17世纪初弗兰德斯最为杰出的艺术大师。1620年前后,艺术家如潮水般涌入鲁本斯的艺术工作室。因鲁本斯在艺术史上的传奇色彩及拥有技艺精湛的学徒而引发了艺术学界许多甄别其艺术作品真伪的公案,至今未曾停息。其中,近二十年来一些较为重大的发现和国际学术领域中的最新观点,可以使鲁本斯的部分正讹素描作品得到重新审视,从而深化鲁本斯为素描大师这一命题。

Rubens is the most outstanding master in the early 17th century in Flanders. Around 1620, artists surged in Rubens＇ art studio. Rubens is legendary in art history and has apprentices with the exquisite artistry, which led to the legal cases on identifying the authenticity of Rubens＇ art work in the academic community of art. The new discoveries and the latest international academic views over the past two decades can be used to re-examine the authentic and erroneous work of some of Rubens＇ sketches and deepen the proposition that Rubens is a sketch master.
