Gender,Race and Identity—On Themes of Early Australian Women＇s Literature Early Australian Women writers wrote about different issues and in different ways from the men.They discussed about women＇s problems like love,marriage and family etc.They expressed their sympathy with the black people.They looked on British and Australian culture from dual aspects and searched for individual and communal identity.Thus,gender,race and identity became traditional themes of Australian Women＇s Literature.
