In view of the media convergence in Europe,the European Council and the European Union develop a series of guidance documents and regulations to regulate the media within Europe,trying to build economic benefits while protecting the public interest of media regulation and supervision framework.This paper attempts to go in a comprehensive understanding of the background of the current European media regulation and supervision of the situation and problems and explore possible solutions.
