以"仁义礼智信"为主要内容的中华传统美德是中华传统文化的重要组成部分,对当代中国的道德建设具有重要的价值,作为中华传统美德相承接的最好诠释和载体的社会主义荣辱观,是社会主义核心价值体系的重要内容。近来频发的校园血案凸显弘扬中华传统美德的必要性与重要性,推进社会主义核心价值体系建设的路径选择在于大力弘扬中华传统美德、发挥大众文化的熏陶作用及建立社会主义荣辱观的践行机制。

The Chinese traditional virtue, which mainly contains humanity, justice, propriety, wisdom and credibility, is an important part of the Chinese traditional culture. It devotes a lot to China＇s moral-building at present. The socialist maxim of honor and disgrace, as the best annotation and carrier of the Chinese traditional virtue, is an important aspect of the socialist core value system. More and more campus murder cases indicate the necessity and importance to develop and expand the Chinese traditional virtue. In order to build the socialist core value system, we must energetically develop and expand the Chinese traditional virtue, take advantage of the edifying influence of mass culture and build the mechanism to carry out the socialist sense of honor and disgrace.
