On Teachers' Function of Demonstration in Higher Vocational College English Teaching

英语教师在英语教学中,通过示范来增强学生英语运用能力,是一种"以学生为中心"为主要特点的独特教学模式。示范功能是语言功能中的一种,示范功能具有其他功能不可替代的作用。在英语教学中教师运用示范功能,可以激发学生英语学习兴趣,营造英语学习氛围,提高学生英语应用能力。

Demonstration teaching is a kind of special teaching model,which is characterized by the student-centered.English teachers strengthen the students＇ ability of English application through demonstration in vocational English teaching.Based on the introduction of the background demonstration theory,this paper presents how to stress the teachers＇ function of demonstration in higher vocational college English teaching,and probes into some positive effects of English teaching reform.
