本文分析了进口商在信用证业务开证环节需要完成的手续,以及出口商接受信用证后拒不交货时进口商面临的风险,进而提出进口商可以通过选择履约保函与信用证结合使用的货款结算方式来化解这种风险。

This paper analyzed the formalities which importers need to finish when applying L/C and the risks for importers when the exporters fail to deliver the contracted commodities after accepting the L/C,and presented the positive effects to importers provided by the combination of L/C and P/B which is one of realistic countermeasures.
