高校核心竞争力是一个由管理体制、学科建设与人才培养能力和校园文化有机组合而成的系统。这一系统的构筑及良好运行是高校获得竞争优势并在竞争中获胜的关键。目前,我国高校的现代管理体制尚未建立,学科建设缺乏科学性,高校定位不合理和校园文化特点不突出,因此,高校必须从管理创新、学科建设以及校园文化建设三个方面着手,培植和提升大学的核心竞争力。

The core competence of a university primarity depends on a comprehensive system,composed of management system,discipline construction,talent education,and campus culture.The establishment and smooth operation of this system play an important role in obtaining competitive advantage and winning for a university.At present,many universities in China are faced with development bottlenecks,such as absence of modern management system,deficiency of constructiveness in discipline construction,unreasonable positioning in development orientation,and lack of shining points in campus culture.Therefore,it is necessary for universities to start cultivating and enhancing their core competitiveness from the following three aspects,namely management innovation,discipline construction,and campus culture.
