摘要
本调查以普通高师院校80名英语专业文理科生源班的学生为调查对象,采用学习策略问卷的形式来探讨两个生源班学生在学习策略上的一般特点和趋势。结果表明:(1)普通高师英语专业文科生源班的学生在六类学习策略的使用频率上都高于理科生源班的学生,但两者之间并不存在显著的差异;(2)两个生源班的学生使用记忆策略的频率最低,其次是情感策略;使用补偿策略的频率最高,再次文科生源班是交际策略,而理科生源班是元认知策略;(3)英语写作对于两个生源班的学生都是一大薄弱环节。
This paper is an empirical study on various kinds of English learning strategies employed by 80 English majors of arts and science from a normal college.It reflects their characteristics and tendency in learning strategies.The findings are as follows:(1) The English majors of arts in normal colleges tend to use these strategies at higher frequencies than the English majors of science,but there are no significant differences between them.(2) Both of them have got lower scores in memory strategies and affective strategies,while they score highest in compensation strategies.The second highest is social strategies for the English majors of arts and metacognitive strategies for the English majors of science.(3) Writing in English is a weak point for both of them.
