摘要
英语阅读理解能力不仅与学生的英语水平有关,与其逻辑思维能力也有着密不可分的关系。文章分析了英语阅读与逻辑思维的关系,以三个最基本的逻辑思维形式为角度,结合阅读理解实例,阐明了如何通过培养学生的逻辑思维来提高英语阅读理解能力,即明确概念、正确判断和合理推理。
English reading comprehension is deeply influenced by students’ logical thinking as well as their English proficiency.This paper illustrates the relationship between English reading and logical thinking with examples from TEM 8 and discusses how to improve students＇ English reading comprehension by fostering their logical thinking in terms of clearing concept,testing judgment and rationalizing inference.
