Breeding Report of A New Super-sweet Corn Varieties Gantian 1

甘甜1号是甘肃省金源种业开发有限公司以自育自交系甜635为母本、自育自交系甜852为父本选育的超甜玉米杂交种。在2007—2008年甘肃省鲜食玉米区域试验中,2 a10点(次)平均产鲜果穗18 213.0 kg/hm2,较对照品种甜单21号增产11.1%。籽粒(干基)含可溶性总糖35.3%、还原糖3.8%、粗蛋白17.0%、粗脂肪33.2%。外观及蒸煮品质达到农业部颁鲜食甜玉米二级标准。适宜在甘肃省酒泉、张掖、武威、天水、白银的景泰和兰州的永登等地种植。

Gantian 1 was a new super-sweet corn hybrid varieties bred by crossing with the parental combination of self-sterile inbred lines 635/852 by Jinyuan Seed Industry Development Co.,Ltd.of Gansu Province.In 2007—2008,the average fresh ear yield of Longchun 27 was 18 213.0 kg/hm2 and 11.1% higher than that of the check Tiandan 21 in the super-sweet corn regional test of Gansu province.The result showed that grain（dry basis） containing of total soluble sugar,reducing sugar,crude protein,crude fat were 35.3%,3.8%,17.0%,33.2%,respectively.The appearance and cooking quality of fresh sweet corn to the secondary agricultural ministerial standard.,It is suitable to be planted in Jiuquan,Zhangye,Wuwei,Lanzhou,Tianshui,Jingtai and Qinchuan of Yongdeng of Gansu province.
